And he called me Persephone
And he wished me diamonds and rings
He heard things at a rate
that would make a normal head spin

It's not the afflicted who are being punished
It's the unafflicted who are being tested
You can call him schizophrenic
But what are they gonna call you?

When Zeus played his guitar
Sometimes Lancelot sang the song
David blew the shofar loudly
Mother Mary smiled and clapped along

If Zeus called you Persephone
Would you answer to the name?
If he told you he'd called Hades
On your behalf, would you play the game?

And if the game were deadly real
With heightened sensory perception
If not for us, for him to feel
Too many lives, too much reception

It's not the afflicted who are being punished
It's the unafflicted who are being tested
You can call him schizophrenic
But what are they gonna call you?

Rest in peace Peter W.
